I Got the Job!
Well it's been a little crazy this past week or so. Last Thursday I got a call and they offered me the job I applied for. I had to think about it a lot because I do like my current job and they were trying to keep me, but after I got some good inside advise, I feel a lot better and accepted the job. The best part is that I'll make a lot more and even get more vacation. The job is pretty much the same thing I'm doing now, but in the Admissions department.This last weekend I went to Derek's - Dusty's brother - for a few days. I took Friday off since Dusty and one of their friends were there Thursday and Friday, which was nice, especially after hearing about the job on Thursday. We played games and stuff most of the weekend, and I got Chipotle twice! They had people over on Saturday for their daughter Maiya's first birthday.
I've actually got a pretty busy month too. This weekend is free, but the next I'm going to my friends Moll and Matt's for a party, the next weekend home for Easter and the next people are coming up for my birthday. It should be a lot of fun. I've decided I need to go see people more often - just not quite this much most of the time - especially since I'm going to have more money to do it.
