Although I encourage students to come and talk to me or to your TA if you are having a problem in class, you may also find the Tutoring Center useful. The Tutoring Center provides free tutoring on a walk-in basis. The tutoring is provided by fellow undergraduates who have already taken similar courses. A number of the tutors are designated as Computer Science tutors and were referred to the Center by Computer Science faculty. Most of the tutors take a tutor training class during their first semester of tutoring (the class focuses on collaborative and one-on-one instruction).
