Behind this unassuming index page lies many more pages of useful information for the students of CSD 8205. You will see a menu of the basic links hovering to the left of each page. Use these links to take you to the major pieces of information that you will need. From these links, you will find your way to more detailed information, such as the outlines for each unit of discussion and the details of assignments and grading. Check this page regularly; things change. Watch the ANNOUNCEMENTS box above for new items that become available.
Stuttering remains an age old conundrum for professionals and the public alike. Many SLPs with whom I have talked recently seem to approach their stuttering clients with fear and trepidation. My wish for you after 15 weeks, is that you will have gained enough information, confidence, and wisdom to remove some of the mystique of stuttering so that you can work effectively with clients, and so that you can continue to educate yourself about this disorder.
