I feel sorry for Malcolm X. For a brief period of time, he was the most famous Malcolm in the world. Today when you hear Malcolm, the first thing people think of is Malcolm in the Middle. Malcolm X has joined the list of famous people whose legacy has been erased and replaced by a useless item. Julius Caesar used to be a famous person. Now when you hear Julius the first thing people think of is an Orange drink. The name George used to be synonymous with the greatest president of all time; now the name just reminds people of some rich monkey who gets put into situations he cant handle and gets in trouble.
There is a conspiracy theory online stating that Malcolm in the Middle was created by the man to destroy Malcolm Xs legacy. The theory is composed of three points.
- The fast majority of the characters on the show Malcolm in the Middle are white. The theorists state that the show did this to erase most of the black power and spirit associated with Malcolm X.
- In Malcolm in the Middle, every fifth word you hear is someone screaming Malcolm's name because he had done something wrong. The web site says that the show did this to make it look like everyone was always mad at Malcolm X for doing his little shenanigans.
- The only black character on the show is a paraplegic whose voice is more annoying than Fran Drescher. The web site said the show did this to erase any possible chance of the name Malcolm to be associated with a strong confident black leader.
I don't see the desire to become famous or victorious. Name recognition is one of the main motivating factors for becoming a famous person. The world just keeps getting bigger and bigger; who knows when you will get bumped out. Will it be at 8, 12, or 15 billion people. Malcolm X was the absolute undisputed most famous Malcolm when the population of the earth was about 3.5 billion. But once the population passed 6 billion he got pushed out. Its hard to compete with that extra 2.5 billion people. So my advice to anybody who wants to be famous and stand the test of time; is to prepare yourself to compete in a earth of about 80 billion people, because that's about the max population the earth can take. If you think that human beings will be able to inhabit space and other worlds you should probably factor that in to.
