The Client Project

For the last assignment, you will create a project for a real-life client on campus or in the local area. The client can be an organization, a faculty member, a business, etc., and the project can be either print- or Web-based. In consultation with the client, you will first create a working draft, or "BETA" version, of the project which we will workshop in class. Then you will take the feedback you receive in the workshop to complete the finished project, which should be delivered to the client by the date of our final exam. You will also turn in a copy of the final version (or send the URL of the finished site) to me as well.

The Client Project will include the following elements:

1. an informal project proposal addressed to, prepared for, and presented to the client early in the process

2. a working draft, or BETA version, of the project shared with the class for workshopping, along with copies of the proposal to provide context (due Wednesday, December 5.)

3. a final version delivered to the client and submitted to me by the final exam date. As usual, this version will include a self commentary that reflects not only on the final product itself, but also on the process of working with the client. Due on or before the final exam time (see schedule) on Tuesday, December 18 between 10 and 11 a.m.
