Open the image you want to
place circular type around. |
File>Open If you want to use the same

Use the type tool to type
your text |
Click on the type tool, and
then click on the document where you want the text to go and start
typing. |

Highlight type |
Double-click on the “T”
thumbnail to highlight your type, in the layers palette |

Lower the horizontal scale |
Click on the character
palette it is the last icon on the right before the cancel button, it looks
like a piece of paper. When it
appears, lower the horizontal scale to 70%.
Do this because the next step tends to stretch the type out. |

Choose Arc |
While type is still
highlighted, click the ‘T’ icon in the upper right hand corner of your
screen. This brings up the Warp Text
dialog box. From the dialog’s style
pop-up menu, choose Arc. |

Adjust the amount of |
While the dialog box is
open, move your pointer outside the box, click on your type, and drag it into
position in your image. Adjust the
amount of bend by dragging the slider. Press control H to check how it looks,
when it looks good click OK. |
