School of Business and Economics

  1. Prepare Form 16, including Position Description, Advertising Copy, and Selection Criteria
  2. To Department Head for review and approval
  3. To Dean's Office (Carolyn Zanko) for review and Source of Funds form
  4. To Dean for review and approval
  5. To VCAA Office for review and approval
  6. VCAA delivers to OEO for review, approval, and assignment of DU number
  7. After approvals, advertising and other recruiting efforts may begin
  8. Department or Search Committee reviews applications
  9. Determine qualified pool
  1. Recommendation to SBE Search Committee (if faculty position)
  2. Department Head review and approval
  3. Assistant to the Dean review and goals and availability numbers
  4. To Dean for review and approval
  5. To VCAA Office for review and approval
  6. VCAA delivers to OEO for review and approval
  7. After the pool is approved, candidates may be invited for interviews
  8. Selection of candidate(s)
  1. Recommendation to SBE Search Committee (if faculty position)
  2. Department Head review and approval
  3. To Dean for review and approval
  4. To VCAA for review and approval
  5. VCAA delivers to OEO for review and approval
  6. After approval, offer to candidate may be made
