COACHING MINOR
This program meets or exceeds the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) standards for coaching with emphasis in coaching and administrative theory, psychological, medical and nutritional concerns, risk management and skill development.
Students must be admitted to the UMD coaching minor program prior to enrolling in the courses listed below. Requirements and an application for admission can be obtained from the Department of HPER. Post baccalaureate students seeking coaching licensure should check with the HPER department for requirements.
