Chem 4184. Seminar Selection Form (Due Sept 29)

Summary of requirements and guidelines

• Identify a published research article from suggested topics list.
  • Article must be abstracted by Chemical Abstracts or Medline.
  • You cannot select an article on which you are a named author. If you are doing undergraduate research, you will have an opportunity to present your research at the Spring Symposium.
  • If topic is not from this list, please obtain approval from D. Poe. However, you still need to get a faculty advisor.
• Discuss topic with faculty advisor and obtain agreement from faculty member that s/he will serve as your advisor.
• Print and complete the Seminar Selection Form below.
• Write the short article as outlined in the Writing and Presentation Assignment. Written article is due Oct 13.
• Make an oral presentation before the class (dates to be determined).
