to import video, edit it to create a short movie, and export it in different
formats.

Tasks:
Using iMovie:
Plan a storyboard for a short video
highlighting the UMD Education Department (2-3 minutes)
Content of each video sequence
Filming techniques
Narration
Music, title and transitions
In your video. You should incorporate
the following:
Video footage that your group has filmed
Movie title and credits
Use of black space
Split a video segment (provide a brief
commentary of a title in between the two split segments.
Transition effect
Advanced features (such as reversing
clip direction, changing clip speed, extracting audio, creating still
clips from video footage)
Music or other imported sound
Save your movie as a Quick Time movie
for CD-R and onto videotape.
Create screen shot of a scene from the video or embed
the QT movie into your web page (you do not need to upload the whole
video if you don't want to as it may take you over the limit of your
allowed storage space in your UMD account).
Include a copy of your story board in
your web page (either scanned or created in another application)
Write a brief reflective analysis on the project. Address
how this technology can support student learning and assist your role as
a teacher.
