The 42nd Annual Northern Great Plains History Conference will be held at the Holiday Inn and Suites, Downtown Waterfront, Duluth, Minnesota. The Conference Schedule is now available here. Highlights include the SMH Reception, which will be held at the Richard I. Bong World War II Heritage Center in Superior, Wissconsin on Wednesday, October 3, a Reception at Glensheen, The Historic Congdon Estate, on October 4, and the Conference Banquet, featuring Keynote Speaker James R. Grossman of the Newberry Library, Chicago, Illinois, on October 5. Transportation will be provided to all registered conference guests to all scheudled events outside the Holiday Inn.
