Graduate Student Paper Prize

The best research paper presented by a graduate student at the 2007 Northern Great Plains History Conference will receive a $200 prize, a plaque and a banquet ticket.

To be eligible for this award, authors must be enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college or university at the time the paper is presented.

A paper copy of the submission must be sent by surface mail to each of the three judges listed below and postmarked no later than September 1, 2007.   Late papers will not be considered.   A statement from the student's advisor or other appropriate departmental official should accompany the copies verifying that the student is currently enrolled.

Submitters are eligible to compete for only one graduate student prize offered in conjunction with the conference (e.g. Society for Military History Prize).

Submissions must be scholarly research papers that conform to the conference's length requirements.
