The Labor Education Service (LES) is part of the Industrial Relations Center (IRC) of the University of Minnesota. The Northern Minnesota LES office is housed at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. LES serves as the primary outreach component of the Land Grant University of Minnesota for working women and men in their role as workers. The LES mission is to make available the resources and expertise of the University to workers and their organizations so they might participate fully in their work environment and help democratically shape the economic, political and social decisions that affect them most directly.
