ECH 2010 Assignment Guidelines   

The reading and homework assignments each week should equal 2 hours for every 1 hour of class time.

Written Work:  Failure to do the following requirements will result in a drop of grade and/or an assignment handed back to redo.

1. Papers handed in should be word processed, stapled, double spaced, black ink, size12 font in Times New Roman. These guidelines should be followed in all papers whether they are uploaded or hard copies.

2. Include a  paper cover sheet or header with the following information:

3. MLA format, include bibliographies and footnotes where appropriate.

4. Appropriate writing and word usage for college level work that is free of grammatical and spelling errors.

5. Content and synthesis of learning. You should be able to present your depth of understanding utilizing class discussions, lectures, speakers, text, your life experiences as it pertains to the topic and your educated opinions.

Email:

2. Include prior conversations for context where appropriate.

3. Include proper greeting

4. Appropriate writing and word usage for college level work that is free of grammatical and spelling errors. Communication emails can be more informal. Assignment emails should be formal.

5. Sign the email with your full name or your signature. Make sure you include the course name and section somewhere in the email.
