• Students will understand the names of plants and parts of plants: "árbol", "plantas", "flores", "hojas", "pétalos", "tronco", "tallo", "rama", "estambre", "pistilo", "filamento", "antera", "sépalo", "raíces"**

Materials:

• Photos of plants and parts
• Word placas
• Drawing materials

Activities:

• Teacher chatter
• Q/A
• Drawing

Outline:

• Teacher will teach vocabulary with teacher chatter, checking for comprehension/learning with q/a
• Students will draw a garden of the plants, as directed
• Students will review animals by drawing and labelling an animal of their choice within the garden

*Note: This lesson may need 2 days.

**Note: This lesson relates to a science lesson in which students plant seeds and grow flowers, as well as study the parts of the plants.
