Topic: Pastimes

Objectives:

• Student will understand/identify different pastime activities: leer, correr, nadar, saltar, jugar, mirar televisión, cantar, caminar, tocar música
• Student will understand/identify different summer pastime activities: tomar sol, acampar, montar en bicicleta, nadar, jugar en la playa, mirar los insectos/las estrellas/los vegetales, sentar, descansar, tomar leche, caminar en la lluvia, regar las plantas
• Student will understand/identify different winter pastime activities: esquiar, patinar, jugar al hockey, pescar, pintar
• Student will be able to say/write what different people do: Yo..., Usted..., El/Ella..., Ellos..., Nosotros... .
• Students will understand general rule of present tense conjugation: "yo" form ends in "o"; "usted" form ends in "a" or "e", depending on base word; "él/ella" form ends in "a" or "e", depending on base word; "nosotros" form ends in "amos", "emos" or "imos", depending on base word
• Students will be able to say where they live: Vivo..., Vivimos...
