First Grade

Topic: Maps/Countries

Objectives (Lessons 1-4) (EZ, HD):

  1. Students will learn about specific information about España.
  2. Students will learn about specific information about México.
  3. Students will learn about specific information about Argentina.

Objectives Lessons 5-9) (EZ):

  1. Students will know that Spanish is spoken in Mexico, Argentina, Spain and Venezuela.
  2. Students will associate baseball with Venezuela and Mexico, soccer (fútbol) with Argentina and Spain.
  3. Students will understand that there are similarities and differences between us in Duluth and people and cultures in Mexico/Argentina/Venezuela/Spain.
  4. Students will recognize flags of Mexico/Spain/Argentina/Venezuela.
