Kindergarten: Script Topic 2 (Colors/Numbers): Lesson Plan 4

NOTE: From this point on the lessons will be in an outline format rather than a strict script.

Script/Outline

I: Hola/Intro (3-5 minutes) ¿De qué color es Sr. Gusano? ¿Sra. Rana?  Review verde/rojo and also review what these critters signal. Cantamos diez deditos.

Here’s another signal we can use, cinco deditos, when it's time to stop moving or talking, or time to change activities: (hold up 5 fingers and count back from cinco...cuatro...etc., putting one finger down each time.)

II: TPR (7 – 10 min) Repeat TPR color reinforcement w/ stuffed toys, clothing, cloth balls, slips of paper, etc.  Use “ 5 dedos” to signal change in activity... pass out math sets.

III: Listen/respond (5 -7 min) Name the item students have—bloques, osos—show gusano (no talking), give instruction: Muestra verde, muestra azul, muestra amarillo, etc. if it seems easy add a number: muestra dos anaranjados, etc.  Wrap up: Clase, cuenten conmigo: count 5 blocks/bears etc. in espanol.  Guárdenlos, gracias, adios.
