Weather
The lessons and scripts written by Colleen Coffey-Schorr reflect these objectives. Jane Rupel suggests changes as noted.
Objectives:
- When shown a picture or puzzle piece, students will choose the correct weather phrase: Hace calor, Hace frío, Hace fresco, Hace sol, Hace viento, Hace mal/buen tiempo; Hay niebla (added), Hay nubes; Llueve, Nieva (changed from Hay nieve).
- Students will name activities they can do in different weather conditions. Recommended change: Students will match specific activities (andar en bicicleta, esquiar) with the appropriate different weather conditions.
- Recommended addition: Students will describe the day's weather.
Clothing
Objectives:
- Students will recognize items of clothing: falda, pantalones, camisa, camiseta, calcetines, sombrero/gorra/gorro, vestido, guantes, gafas de sol, botas, pantalones cortos, bufanda.
