M: Buenos días, clase.
E: Hola, Señorita....
M: Hoy vamos a practicar los números. [Pass out items per child (the number you need will depend on certain variables: how well the students have internalized numbers at this point; accessibility. Items can be clothes (same one item) (so as to review clothing), or math manipulatives, or ...; you should have a variety of colors.]
M: Voy a decir el número, y ustedes van a juntar ese número de cosas. Después, me van a mostrar ese grupo y decirme "Tengo + el número". Miren. "Cuatro". Aquí tengo uno, dos, tres, cuatro. Tengo cuatro. [Model.] [Repetir, varying numbers (not in order), 1-10.] (1) (2) (3)
M: Bueno, clase. Eso es todo para hoy. El [día] continuamos con los números. Adiós.

Nota (1): You can call on students individually to show and speak; or you can have the whole group respond. If you can circulate and watch how students do at counting out the correct (or incorrect) number, you can use this as an evaluation of student learning.
Nota (2): After the first go around, then add in the complicating factor: color. This will serve to review colors. If by chance you have worked on shapes and sizes, you could add in the complication of "large" and "small" and/or shapes.
Nota (3): While this lesson is based around counting from 1-10, the range can be changed to match students' knowledge.
