 Student Objectives

Students will identify basic plants and fruits.

Students will review the parts of a plant:  la hoja, las raíces, el tallo, la flor

Students will recognize la nueva planta, la reserva de alimentos, la cáscara, la semilla (frijoles)

Students will identify what plants need:  oxígeno, la tierra, agua and la luz del sol

Several pictures of flowers emphasizing petals and colors; the other side will have 5 set of pictures…for example, 4 in a series of leaves where one does not belong.

Worksheet on labeling the parts of a flower.

Color crayons / markers

Review colors.
