M: Buenos días, clase. Hoy es el [número] de [mes]. ¿Cómo están? E: Bien, gracias.
M: Vamos a cantar una canción que trata de una tortuga que quiere volar.* ¿Las tortugas vuelan? No, no vuelan. ¿Qué hacen las tortugas? Sí, nadan. Aquí tenemos diferentes fotos para cosas y animales que se mencionan en la canción. Cuando oyen lo que tienen en la foto, levántenla.
M: Ahora vamos a leer un libro sobre diferentes animales.*
M: Ahora vamos a jugar. Formen un círculo. Vamos a tocar música y pasar estas fotos de los animales. Cuando la música pare, hay que decir qué animal es (Es el...).
M: Bueno, clase, ya termina la clase.* Son las 4:00 de la tarde. Hasta el (lunes). ¡Hasta luego! E: Adios.
*Notas
- This lesson is a review, for fun. Another item I have are two power points. One shows animals, one at a time, and talks about them (Vive en..., Vuela/Camina/etc., Dice...) and asks ¿Qué es? There also is a picture. On the next slide the picture is there again, with the phrase Es el/la ___, and students fill in (orally) the name of the animal. The other power point says Muéstreme el ___, and students have three pictures from which to point to the correct animal. These will be used for assessment purposes.
