Advisee Resource Page

This page is designed to provide useful resources for my (and other organization management major) advisees.  If there is material you would find useful that is not available here, or you have advising-related questions, please contact me by clicking here. You can find answers to some frequently-asked questions by clicking here. If you need to contact our departmental secretary, you can email Connie at mgts@d.umn.edu or call her at 218-726-8992.

Upper-division worksheet:

The Organlizational Management Major worksheet is available on-line (unofficially). However, recent changes to the Organizational Management track of the Management Major have necessitated that we post multiple versions of this file, depending on whether or not you are following the requirements of the "old" or the "new" major. Basically, any students entering into LSBE in the fall of 2007 or after will automatically follow the "new" rules. If you entered LSBE prior to that date, you can choose whether you follow the old or the new rules, although we strongly recommend you follow the new rules.

For those following the "old" rules, you can access a Word or HTML version of the worksheet here.

For those following the "new" rules, you can access a Word or HTML version of the worksheet here.

Sorry for the confusion.

Lower-division worksheet:

I have replicated Jon's effort for the lower-division core. It is available in Word format by clicking here, or as a web-page by clicking here. For students who are in lower division, you may want to download the Word-format version and update it as you progress through your program, filling in data as you complete courses. For upper division students, you can ignore this worksheet if you'd like.

Class Schedule:

You can find a standardized management class schedule by clicking here.  Basically, we normally offer the same set of electives each term, such that if an elective is offered in Fall 2004, it will tend to be offered each and every fall, and if offered Spring 2005, it will tend to be offered each and every spring.  The exception to that is that Organization Studies and the management of Innovation and Technology, which Professor Goel generally offers in alternating spring semesters.

The current MgtS schedule for Spring 2005 is available here. Please note that this is a tentative schedule, and was last updated on Nov 5, 2004. It is subject to change without notice, and probably will change before classes start.

The current on-line sclass schedule is available by clicking here.
