WebQuests are great. I had heard about WebQuests before because of my mom, but I had never experienced making one or using one before taking this class. Making this with the group that I had was certainly a pleasure because we worked so well together. Having to work with them also gave me different perspectives on how I could use the WebQuest in other ways that I hadn't thought about before and may not have thought about if it weren't for them. I think that a WebQuest would be a wonderful way to start out a larger unit to give the kids a sense of what will be covered in class, and possibly outside of class. It would also be fun if you had an older group of students (seventh or eight grades) to have them make WebQuests in groups like we had to do. I think that would be a blast if they could make thier own and have their classmates follow it. Even without that, it would be a fantastic tool to use for the students to get some pretty good information and help them learn how to search the internet for good sources at the same time.
