The Lake District

Our first weekend here we all hopped on a coach and headed to the Lake District, where we proceeded to have a lot of fun despite the weather (it rained the entire weekend!). The Lake District is a very scenic area in Northern England, full of mountains, lakes, and Sheep. Watch your step!

The first night we were here, many of us ventured out into the nearby village and visited a couple of pubs, knowing little of what the Lake District had in store for us over the next couple of days...

A few of the now infamous sheep that made such a simple task like walking a tedious chore, especially in the dark...
The Challenges
On the 2nd day we were split up into groups and brought around to different stations to work on our teamwork skills. The activities included orienteering, a lot of blindfolded walking, and the ever so famous priestley Centre Ropes course, all while getting rained on and stepping in mud, or at least thats what we told ourselves it was...

The big group of people who were brave enough to venture out onto the lake in the big canoe in the pouring rain. They made it across on their own and then got a free ride back from the tugboat!
