General Information

STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY

The Director of the Study in England Programme will make every attempt to act in the best interests of the University of Minnesota and its students during their participation in the programme. The Director's responsibilities include the administration of the academic programme and the maintenance of the reputation of the programme, its participants, and the University of Minnesota and the University of Birmingham.

If, in the judgment of the Director, a student's attitude or behavior jeopardizes the health or safety of any individual or threatens the continued success and good reputation of the Study in England Programme, the Director has the authority to terminate the student's continued involvement with the programme and assist with the student's return to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Students should understand that such behavior includes any law violation, unexcused absences from classes, and/or late return from programme breaks, as well as irresponsible behavior.

Students will be expected to sign a statement of responsibility prior to departure.
