The above graphs show air temperature and dew point. Dew point is a measure of humidity; the higher the dew point, the more humid it is. Air temperature and humidity have a major impact on the transfer of heat between the atmosphere and the lake, both through conduction and through evaporation. The sensor is shown at right.
