During the summer, warmer water typically sits on top of cooler water below. This structure depends on how much heat is put in at the surface, how hard the wind is blowing, and on lake currents. How all of these factors combine to determine the water temperature around the lake is the focus of our study. In these plots, we've plotted water temperature from twelve different depths (from 1m to 40m below the buoy) on top of each other.
