Cooperating Teachers

The following links contain important information related to UMD teacher candidate's practicum experience. The links are provided so that you may contact myself (Jane Ellen Dietrich) or person from Office of Civic Engagement as well as to print off important forms that need to be filled out by the cooperating teachers before the end of the practicum time and given to the teacher candidates by the last day of their scheduled practicum visit. The teacher candidates also receive their practicum site badges from this office. This page contains all the pages for the practicum packet for both teacher and teacher candidate. Some forms are in PDF format and require Adobe Reader to view them.All other forms are in Microsoft Word.

**ePortfolio USED DURING COURSE INTERVIEW PROCESS *UMD teacher candidates will need computer/laptop access during interviewprocess in order to show and explain responses. Tables and chairs will need to be arranged so interviewers and interviewees can view ePortfolio documentation.

Teacher candidates are to be professionally, formally, dressed for an INTERVIEW. This is be interview attire, not teaching attire.

Teacher candiates need to be able to access their ePortfolio. The interview is

show and tell---UMD candiates use their ePortfolio to answer questions.
