Dr. Jing Bai joined the faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the University of Minnesota Duluth in August 2007. She received her Ph.D. degree and M. Sc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2007 and 2003, respectively. She also earned the M. Eng. degree in Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 1999 and the B. Eng. degree in Tsinghua University, P. R. China, in 1996 both in Mechanical Engineering. From 1999 to 2001, she worked in Micro Machines Laboratory in Nanyang Technological University as a research engineer. Her research interests include optoelectronics, semiconductor nanostructures, quantum optics, nonlinear optics, and micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS). She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), the Optical Society of America (OSA), and the American Physics Society (APS). |
