Course Goals and Objectives: 

To provide Pre-Veterinary Medicine and other students with the knowledge and tools to critically evaluate the profession of veterinary medicine, and the rigor of preparation required for admission and successful completion of the program.

Grading basis: S/N

A grade of “S” requires attendance to all Tuesday classes and the Saturday Tour of School of Veterinary Medicine. Weekly quizzes on reading assignments before each class with guest speakers and active participation in discussion and completion of a comprehensive final paper integrating course material and guest speaker information..
