Purpose of assignment:
To learn how to create animated video using clay
To learn the basics of video creation using still pictures: using storyboards, taking photographs (quality, size, close up vs far away), lighting, sequencing of images, importing images into video production application, saving video at different compression rates.
Task:
Design and produce a short video clip (using between 30 - 40 images) that shows a sequence of animated events
Criteria:
Your final product should:
- Contain 30 - 40 images, or sufficient number to show a clear sequence of animated events.
- Include a detailed storyboard that illustrates and describes the sequence of events, set design for the whole movie, and any changes in design from scene to scene.
- Upload your claymation on the web
server and
- email the URL
