Purpose of assignment:

To learn how to create animated video using clay

To learn the basics of video creation using still pictures: using storyboards, taking photographs (quality, size, close up vs far away), lighting, sequencing of images, importing images into video production application, saving video at different compression rates.

Task:

Design and produce a short video clip (using between 30 - 40 images) that shows a sequence of animated events

Criteria:

Your final product should:

  1. Contain 30 - 40 images, or sufficient number to show a clear sequence of animated events.
  2. Include a detailed storyboard that illustrates and describes the sequence of events, set design for the whole movie, and any changes in design from scene to scene.
  3. Upload your claymation on the web server and
  4. email the URL

presentation
