Welcome to the web page for the Society for Outlandish Thoughts (SOT). We have
been serving the outlandish community since our inaugural conference on October 17,
1999 in the Castaways Lounge in Edmonton, Alberta. At this original meeting, we
elected Samantha Hedgerick as our president for the coming year and developed three
subcommittees: Groundlings and Gross Disparities, Eventual Spontaneity, and All
Things Culinary. We also voted on the SOT charter and established a timetable for
the organization of our next meeting (time and location TBA).
Please return to this web site for future updates concerning various beSOTted
activities throughout the year.
