One of the first questions I am asked about my UMD experience is "How is the food?" Now depending on the day, and the depending on what I ate my answer varies. I can't say that the Dining Center here at UMD has bad food, but it's not exactly what you would call nutritious. There are some nutritious options, but these usually consist of items like canned fruit or rubbery green beans. One would most likely prefer hot curly fires, or soft serve ice cream to these "nutritious choices" any day. So then comes the following question "are you gaining the freshman 15?" Well considering what I eat here I should be. But wtih college comes a very busy lifestyle. I'm always running all over the place, so I think that balances it out.
