What are the pros and cons of spending your college years in Duluth?
Well, let us tell you!

Pros:
Medium-sized campus-You can walk from one side to the other, but not in
under 5 minutes.
Lots of snow-Great for the outdoor enthusiast
Friendly atmosphere-Comfortable with other students and staff
Down town and suburbs areas
Lake-Beautiful view and brisk swimming opportunities
Lockers-Lockers available to put your coat and boots in during class if you
live off campus
Canal Park-Boardwalk full of tourist destinations and attractions, also some
primo shopping
Miller Hill Mall-Wanna go to Old Navy....well you can here, that and many other
INDOOR stores
Spirit Mountain-A big hill with snow perfect for the ski and snowboard
fanatics. Biking trails in the summer for the less snow-oriented.
Helpful staff-Are you lost? Not for long. The staff is always willing to help
out students in need, even if it isn't their job. They do their best to help
you to their fullest ability or send you in the right direction.
Sports and Health Center- Brand new (fall 2006) excercise facility. New
equipment, cable t.v., two story rock climbing wall, gymnasium, best tasting
water on campus, what more could you ask for?

Cons:
Winter Driving on the Hills- Very slippery and dangerous!!!
Not Enough Jobs- It can be tough for college students to find jobs both on and off campus, apply early!
Cold, Wind Chill from Lake- Makes it so you don't want to go outside...ever.
