Why should you spend your college career up at UMD?

Well I can tell you one reason... the scenery is definitly at the top
of the list.

Duluth has amazing scenery whether you like the spend time by the
water or walking on trails, there are many places to go.
Such as:

Canal Park: It has a cute little downtown area with a point filled
with rocks from Lake Superior. Many places to eat, shop and lots of
scenery to enjoy; walking along the rocks of beautiful Lake Superior
along with the drawbridge and lighthouse. The view is amazing,
especially at night!

There is also...

Hawk Ridge: A nice calm place for a goreous view, great hiking, and
beatiful colored leaves in the fall. The main overpass is located
right up next to Skyline Parkway.

The Lake Walk: is another great place to visit. You can walk along the
paved trail up next to Lake Superior, it also takes you along a few
other places of interest. It's a great walk whether its day or night!

Rose garden: is located in Leif Erickson park and contains six acres
of over 3000 different kinds of rose bushes. This park also has
amazing architecture and a great history to read about while your down
there.

These four places for scenery are only a few of the attractions and
reasons to come to UMD. These places are just what makes it even
better to enjoy!
