GO GREEN UMD!!!

Welcome new students, I would like to inform you on some environmental issues occuring at UMD, and what we can do to prevent them.

Recycling, no doubt a huge issue in the world, is slowly progressing in attempt to reduce waste levels among the rising population. As you know, waste contributes to many of our environmental problems. But with a little more effort from each individual, this issue can be considerably lessened. I believe that a few simple steps, along with some dedication and contribution from UMD's students and staffs, can make our campus a better place.

Here are some suggestions to keep in mind:

 

There are many other things you can do to improve the way our environment looks, and it can start with little steps at your own campus. Just think about how you would like to live, and get into action!
