Canal Park
The heart of Duluth is of course Canal Park!  It’s filled with many great places to eat including Grandma’s Saloon and Grill, Hell’s Kitchen, Belisio’s Italian Restaurant, and much, much more.  Don’t forget desert, however, at Coldstone Creamery for ice cream the way you want it.  Besides all the great food, Canal Park even has a place to do some rock climbing called Vertical Endeavors.  For a nice time sightseeing, take a walk along the shore of Lake Superior and along the pier.

Duluth Omnimax Theatre
Wanting a night away to experience a cinematic adventure? The Omnimax theatre is the place for you!

Glensheen Historic Estate
The Glensheen Historic Estate is a very interesting place to tour. It is an amazing house and there is even a student discount!

Great Lakes Aquarium
The Great Lakes Aquarium has exhibits containing freshwater animals (even species found in the Great Lakes Basin) and other aquatics from around the world.  And, if you’ve been Scuba certified, you can dive in and help feed the animals!

Lake Superior and Mississippi Railroad
This train will take you on a ninety-minute excursion through the town of Duluth where you will see great scenery on a historic ride.

Lake Superior Zoo
A mere ten minutes from downtown Duluth you will find the Lake Superior Zoo, filled with hundreds of animals and exotic species.

S.S. William A. Irving (Haunted Ship)
Take a tour of this ship located down in Canal Park. Better yet, go in October to experience the Haunted Ship.

Spirit Mountain
For the snowboarder/skier enthusiast you will find all you would every need at this great resort.

Gooseberry Falls
Take a day trip a little ways up north to find Gooseberry falls. Gooseberry National Park is filled with many trails and you can actually walk across the tops of the waterfalls.

Splitrock Lighthouse
A few more miles north you will find Splitrock Lighthouse. There are many trails here and buildings to walk in, you can also walk to the top of the Lighthouse.
