Which one is better for you?

UMTC- The University of Minnesota on the Twin Cities camus is on of the most prestigeous schools in the country. It is also one of the largest in the country, with over 40,000 undergraduate and over 25,000 graduate students. It was established in 1851 and is the flagship school for the entire U of M system. For sports lovers, the gophers are division 1 in all of the four major sports. The brand new TCF Bank stadium opened just this year for football games, and the Barn is one of the most revered places to play basketball in. The campus is located in the heart of the twin cities, right on the Mississippi River. You really gain a feel for modern urban living on this campus, and a degree from here is well known and coveted by all employers around the country. The university offers over 100 majors and programs(http://www1.umn.edu/twincities/academics.php) that you can choose to study in. So overall, if your the kind of person that enjoys the upbeat day to day inner city college life, this is the place for you.

UMD- The University of Minnesota on th Duluth campus is the second biggest campus in the U of M system, but it is still much smaller than the The Twin Cities campus. The campus is located over breathtaking lake superior and is abundan with beautifal scenary. Located closest campus is Hawk Ridge, a look out point for bird watchers that overlooks the lake. The campus is located right near the heart of downtown Duluth where thereis no shortage of entertainment. Local restraunts are constantly putting on live music shows to compliment there great food.Educationally UMD is top tier, small class sizes and excellent Professors really give you your tuitions worth. Tuition to go here is less than the Twin Cities campus, but still alot. A downside with this place is the weather, be prepared to deal with a long harsh winter for most of the time. Another downside about this place is to some students they feel isolated way up in the north woods, some people prefer to be in the comfort of the big cities. Overall if you prefer a smaller school, with better first year programs and a scenic campus, i would come to UMD for school. It is a great school on the lake that has values that keep the student on mind.
