Most Excellent Puerto Vallarta Vacation January, 2008

 

Here we are, enjoying warm temp's and a variety of adventures from our home base of Villas Loma Linda.

Boca de Tomatlán...another day trip!

Surrounded by jungle, Boca de Tomatlán is a small fishing village with a nice beach and a beautiful cove where water taxis take off to beaches further south. You'll find a number of small beachside restaurants that serve fresh fish and other products from the bay.

Next...we had a very early wake-up call as we went Birdwatching!

We then take a trip to VALLARTA BOTANICAL GARDENS

...we first take the city bus to some unknown location but eventually we find the Gardens...

Alas..Kathy returns to work and the COLD (-40 windchills) of Duluth while Tina welcomes her new vacation buddies, Candy and Nancy. Seems like they spent more time on the beach-

Our time ends...in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco until next year!
