Grading Criteria for Assessment and Intervention Assignments

 

IN GRADING THESE ASSIGNMENTS THE FOLLOWING WILL BE CONSIDERED:

1) That you included all items indicated in the "Integrative Skills Assessment Protocol" in a clear and concise fashion.

2) With respect to the intervention, you need to clearly explain why you choose the intervention(s) you did, based on the research. You need to have one intervention for each problem you identified in the case. For ONE of these only you need to have the REACH steps of an evidence-based search documented. YOU NEED TO HAND IN THE SEARCH DOCUMENTATION TABLE with squares filled in for your search. ( you can make your own WORD document of this)

3) You need to explain why you choose the particular evidence-based intervention you did in terms of specific application to your case situation and the soundness of the research. (for REACH only)

4) As for the other interventions, you just need to briefly explain what the intervention is and very generally discuss its applicability (you should be able to do this in a short paragraph).

5) Special note: Identify psychotropic medications that have been prescribed in the past or client is currently taking. Tell us what this medication is supposed to accomplish and potential side affects.

6) Special note: Be sure in your assessment you include something specific about the ethnic group/race your client is from.
