JILLIAN RAYMOND
coordinator
raym0078@d.umn.edu
Her dream goal is to go to every amusement
park in the world. She is a daredevil and would like to encourage kids to be as
courageous as her. “When I ride rollercoasters, I feel like I’m on top of the world!” –
she states in one of the books she’s written – Eat Ice Cream while Riding a Roller
Coaster; It’s Good for You.
CHELSEY MACIK
assistant coordinator
macik007@d.umn.edu
Chelsey Macik is serving KPB as the assistant coordinator as a first step towards world
domination. She hopes to put an end to mullets and toe socks, but not necessarily in
that order. She plans on making her way to the top by selling a product called “butter
glasses."
KAITLIN BROOM
financial director
broo0209@d.umn.edu
Before KPB, Kaitlin served as the head of the World Bank. She says that she took the KPB job to
relax and take life a little slower before moving back into the world of
international finance. In her free-time, Kaitlin enjoys discussing position papers on
the sub-prime mortgage crisis, researching positive passive cash-flow systems, and
winning international awards for her photography of rare endangered tropical moss species.
NATE HAUGEN
concerts chair
hauge292@d.umn.edu
Fighting his way onto KPB, Nate Haugen can solve any crime by dinner time. He get his kicks by participating in the edgy and dangerous sport of Polar-Bear tipping. Although he was recently hospitalized for a tipping-gone-wrong, Nate says,
"I just love the thrill of hot teeth piercing my supple skin."
NATHAN GUIMONT
films chair
guimo008@d.umn.edu
Not only is he a movie
conessieur and legend, but he also rocks harder than rocks themselves. His other
interests include long walks on the beach and riding bareback on stallions.
HAYLEY SWENSEN
special events chair
swen0419@d.umn.edu
Hayley may look like a hometown sweetheart – but she
has a darker side. Down in the Twin Cities she is known as “Hayley’s Comet”, the roller
derby queen. Nothing thrills her more than getting into the rink and causing some
serious pain. With the speed of something out of this world, she thrashes the
competition. She also is holder of the prestigious “Baby Spice Look-Alike” award!
VICTORIA VANG
spotlight chair
vangx196@d.umn.edu
Victoria Vang escaped from a Mexican jail after a roudy Cinco de Mayo party in Tiajuana.
The intense manhunt chased her north. Since the Mexican police are allergic
to trees and boundary freshwater, she now resides in Duluth. A probation officer now meets
with Victoria weekly and requires her to work with KPB in the spotlight chair.
LAURA SMITH
lectures chair
smit3606@d.umn.edu
Larua loves to swim in the deep blue ocean. She carries bags
of Hubba Bubba gum with her to feed the seahorses. When not traveling, Laura hangs with her dog
and they play ridiculous amounts of Pretty,
Pretty Princess and Chutes and Ladders. Laura’s favorite snack is root beer with PB&Js.
Laura loves to talk and lecture on anything, but what inspires her most: bubbles.
CORY CAVEGN
publicity chair
caveg003@d.umn.edu
Cory enjoys spending afternoons watching Cher videos on
his Tivo with his nine children. He aspires to front a family band and tour the country
in search of the fountain of youth – or free carbonated beverages. He is a known genius,
and designs rockets for NASA to pay the bills. He and Lance Bass are great friends.
TIFFANY SZERPICKI
website manager
szerp001@d.umn.edu
Tiffany enjoys playing with Polly Pockets and Lite Brites late at
night to keep in touch with her inner child. She really likes to listen to the
Backstreet Boys while trying out her favorite dance moves. Tiffany likes cheese and peanut butter sandwiches. She is a
neat girl.
GRANT CHANDLER
graphic designer
chand127@d.umn.edu
The role of Grant will be played by Frodo Baggins... and no one will be able to tell the difference. He likes to go on epic adventures, packing his
backpack full of pickles, gobstoppers, shoelaces, and stuffed animals (his fetish). He confessed that he keeps tator tots in his pockets because he heard that they
are the cure for his broken heart.
