ORAL PRESENTATIONS

In the presentation you should indicate your topic and thesis, describe the evidence that supports your thesis, and explain the significance of your research to our understanding of the history of U.S. foreign relations. You will be graded on these three criteria, as well as on the organization, structure, and flow of your presentation. Please keep in mind that you have only four minutes. Given what you must accomplish within the minimal time available, I strongly suggest that you develop an outline and practice your presentation ahead of time, thus ensuring that you are prepared to deliver a structured talk that is interesting and informative.
