a participatory event first presented in 1969 at Mewantemooseicday, University of California at Davis, with twelve turntables, twelve stereo-amplifiers,twelve pair of speakers, and 300 randomly choosen records which Cage purchased in Sacramento installation with eight turntables,eight stereo-amplifiers, eight pair of speakers,and a variable number of records size variable, 29 x 30 x 14 feet, overall reconstruction by permission the artist courtesy of Performing Artservices, Inc.
