Grammar Mini-Lessons

Meet with your group and try to come up with a lesson that teaches the grammatical concept you have chosen.

Qualities of a good mini- lesson:

• have class members participate in an interactive lesson
• make the lesson inductive (have class members help generate the definition or rule that you are teaching)
• organize guided practice (have the class members work with the concept)
• use 10-15 minutes
• help class members to enjoy the lesson
