Week Two- Sept. 15-17 Sign up for a conference in class with LMC re. student teaching placement and unit ideas; In-class: sample set-induction: Introduction to NCTE and Doublespeak.  Read Golden: "Teaching a Complete Film," and Constanzo: on ereserve for engl5922. Be ready to choose a film and prepare to teach. Come with a seminar book chosen to teach to the rest of the class.

Email to me an attachment of your prompt for your book on-line, then post twice for each discussion (once in intial response to your group colleagues' prompts, a second time to a peer's response to the initial posted discussion)

 Be working on your web page and the final draft of your unit.  We will on-campus class or dinner meetings (Thursdays 4:00?) to discuss your apprenticeship insights and problems or to have teachers present to you.
