Literature. It is a research and reference guide which
I think will be useful for teachers. For example, if you need

you could reference this sites information quickly.
- Center for Education Reform
This site focuses on the Center for Education Reform (CER), an
organization founded in 1993, which is working to bring change
to schools. These changes include community guidance, assessment,
access, and
encouraging educational choices for teachers and parents. The
site also provides up-to-date information on issues pertaining
to education reform.

Lesson Plans This web page has a great number of links to
lesson plans for language arts from kindergarten to twelfth grade.
It allows you to select a category such as debate or literature
in order to narrow down your search.
- Working
with Learning Disabilities Here is a link for a web page
that contains teaching strategies for learning disabled students.
I thought it was a good page because it gave some good general
information about what teachers can do in their classrooms, and
it gave some good teaching strategies for working with these
students. All of us will have learning disabled students in our
classroom at one time or another.
- National Middle School Association
This site lists upcoming events that teachers would be interested
in. These include
speeches and many different conferences. The site also has a
resource center for teachers. There are listings of new books
and curriculum summaries that the NMSA endorses. There are also
links to other sites that may be helpful to teachers and those
of us planning on being teachers.
- Poetry
Site This website has links to just about every poet and
piece of literature you can think of. It is a good resource and
a good place to start when looking for a piece of literature
or poetry.
- Lesson
Plans Incorporating Music This has many valuable lesson plans
in that incorporate social change with lyrics. One aspect of
the link is about drug use that English or health educators could
use. This web site would be useful for English and social studies
teachers.
