Prof. Eric Ringham

Eric Ringham is commentary editor for Minnesota Public Radio. Before joining the MPR staff in 2009 he was commentary editor of the Star Tribune in Minneapolis, a position he had held since 1982. Ringham arrived at the Star Tribune from the University of Minnesota, where he was editor-in chief of the Minnesota Daily. He has twice been elected president of the Association of Opinion Page Editors and is a former member of the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. He also works as a voice actor and stage actor. He lives in Minneapolis with his two children.
