Solon Campus CenterAdditional programs, such as the Summer Institute and Public Policy Lecture Series, will be offered for the community and the MAPL students. People who participate in these programs are from Minnesota and Western Wisconsin with experience or interest in having an impact on and changing public policy through positions such as:
    • local community leaders
    • labor leaders
    • government relations specialists in businesses
    • nonprofit sector policy advocates
    • inter-governmental relations specialists
    • political operatives
    • lobbyists
    • elected and appointed officials
    • staff to policy-makers
    • informed citizens

The Center and its MAPL program receive a great amount of community support from its steering committee members who come from organizations such as; foundation support for advocacy community expenses (e.g. transportation and lodging), and a growing list of community faculty and guest speakers.
