Bob Weidman (yes, this is the picture he submitted for us to use), is the CEO of Weidman Consulting, a full-service fundraising consulting company specializing in foundation, corporate and major donor cultivation and high-end fundraising that provides fundraising expertise, technical innovation and services designed to help nonprofit organizations raise more money. Weidman has more than 20 years of experience raising money for nonprofit organizations, including as Director of Development for the BlueGreen Alliance (BGA), where he doubled the organization’s revenue in three years and raised more than $26 million, and as President of Aaron Consulting Company, where he managed more than 100 major donor campaigns for mission driven nonprofits.
Bob has managed more than 100 major nonprofit fundraising campaigns, including major donor campaigns, gala events, capital campaigns, benefit concerts and grassroots campaigns, for nonprofit organizations of all sizes in Minnesota and around the country. He brings special expertise to BGA in donor cultivation and fundraising systems design and management.
Prior to joining BGA, Bob was the Chief Operating Officer of Aaron Consulting, a New York-based fundraising consulting company for nonprofits, and subsequently served as President of Aaron Consulting's Minneapolis office. Bob has also worked managing information systems for the California Appellate Project in San Francisco and the Spangenberg Group in Boston.
Bob has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, most recently the Committee to Preserve Historic Pearl Street in New York City.
